In challenging times, we are not alone.
Seeking new life together!
Are you looking for a faith community that encourages you to laugh,
have doubts, and ask questions?
Then join us!
We certainly don't have all the answers, but we will share our questions and accompany each other as we strive to follow the Way of Jesus. Joyful worship, good food, lovely people, and opportunities to make a difference!
We look forward to welcoming you in person!
Our Mission Statement
We, the congregation of Cedar United Church,
believe that God is calling us to:
be a strong spiritual community,
growing in our faith through
worship, study, and prayer
keep this church's tradition of being a family
of diverse, friendly, and caring people
celebrate, discover, and encourage
the talents and gifts of each other
follow Christ's teaching and example
by reaching out to the community and beyond
We are connecting online
for worship and fellowship -
Ministry Staff: (Rev) Erin Sterling
Musicians: Josslyn Meyers
& Marty Steele
20th after Pentecost
** This week Erin has been attending the (virtual) General Meeting of the Pacific Mountain Region. A worship service has been pre-recorded for congregational use (with retiring United Church General Secretary, Nora Sanders, preaching!). See link on worship page.
Please pray for each other and
for the medical professionals and scientists working to help us all, as well as all front-line workers: in pharmacies and grocery stores, restaurants and banks and delivery services, transit workers and government employees, teachers and others working from home... the list goes on and on and we are thankful!
